This post by iMonk resonated with me. A friend of mine once said "God is simple to the simple and complex to the complex." This could refer to individuals' intelligence, I guess, but it has also been true of me, depending on my mood on a particular day, or month, or season of life, or whatever. Sometimes I like to get all heady and think about heady-God-things that blow my mind. Other times I need to shut everything off and remember the verse about being still and knowing he is God.
Dangit, now the Newsboys are stuck in my head. Ah well...
